My Spicy Steak and Ham Homemade Pizza

by - 10:49 AM

It was football Sunday yesterday and watching the SeaHawks vs. Vikings game on TV. Early that morning I thought of baking a homemade pizza to enjoy while watching the game. I was going to make a BBQ Chicken pizza but I noticed I ran out of some ingredients, no BBQ sauce, I only have steak sauce. So I made up of something instead.

I've never bake this Spicy Steak and Ham pizza before but since its what I have on the fridge I made something out of the ingredients and bam! it was good :-)

For my dough, I used;

3/4 cup warm water
1 1/2 tsp fast rising yeast
2 cups flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp tomato, garlic, basil marinade mix (to add flavor to the dough)

For my toppings:

sweet onions, sliced
cooked steak, sliced
cooked ham, sliced
tabasco chili
tabasco sauce
cheddar cheese
steak sauce (rub)

I made the dough and put it inside the bowl and cover it with towel for an hour, let it rise. Before rolling the dough and putting it on the pan, I roasted some garlic cloves in the oven for 15 minutes and added a little oil, crushed it and rub it on the pan. Then I put the dough and the toppings, rubbed some steak sauce on the dough.

Put the pizza in the pre-heated oven 450 degree F and baked it for 12 minutes. And here it was......

Before I served it, I rubbed some steak sauce and little hot sauce to make it little moist. It tasted really good. In a regular BBQ Pizza, I normally add dried oregano and dried italian seasoning to the pizza dough for flavors but since I ran out, I used the tomato, garlic, and basil marinade instead. So, if you want to try it in your kitchen, go ahead and experiment with any flavor, you may get a wonderful surprise.
