Life is too Short

Someone so very very dear to my heart passed away last month. It is sad and so painful. I never knew this kind of pain existed. I have been a roller coaster ride of emotions since then. Some days I feel better, some days I have to drag myself out of bed. I and the rest of his friends who love him so much are still in shock over this and wish that this is all just a dream. If there's one great thing I never regretted is that I said what I needed to tell him and meant it wholeheartedly. I'm always a very vocal person and voice out my opinion as is. Be it "I love you" or "I am mad at you".

My friend left a lot of great loving memories and it has been bitter-sweet remembering all those. There's not a day goes by that I don't think of him. And I am sure my heart will never be the same again. In times like this, the reality of life hits you. How short life is!

Life is Short! And although we hear this statement often, most of the time we really never give deep thoughts about it until we lose someone we deeply love. This reminds me of a great quote. You probably have heard, seen, or read this quote before but I just want to share it here as a reminder and for other people who may not have read/heard about this before. Life is a journey. A journey too short to wake up with regrets.

Life is too Short

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don’t.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy.
They just promised it would be worth it.

So, treasure your relationships. Treasure the people that genuinely care and love you. These are the people that matter. These are the people that you should be spending time with and give more value, and let go of those people that don't seem to really care about you and your well being. For the time that you spent to those people that are not deserving are the time stolen and could be given to those people that truly care for you. Make your life worth living. We only have one.

20 Basic Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows

Do you use a computer regularly? If you do a ton of typing, you can save a great deal of time when working with your computer by using keyword shortcuts. I am a frequent computer user. While I use a mouse in working, I also use a lot of keyboard shortcuts. Working with computers using keyboard shortcuts is fast. I find it much faster than using mouse sometimes.

Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows

You too can take advantage of the useful keyboard shortcuts that are available for everyone to use. When you familiarize yourself with these keyboard shortcut keys, it will save you the most possible time and effort.

Here are the Basic Keyboard shortcuts for Windows:

2. CTRL + C   – This copies the highlighted text.
3. CTRL + V   – Pastes the text that you just copied from a website, a document or from anywhere else.

I know there are too many keyboard shortcuts to memorize and they can differ between operating systems. The good thing is, you don’t have to memorize all of these computer keyboard shortcut keys, only those that you use most often. And if you find these keyboard shortcuts more comfortable than using your mouse, then using these will help you work more efficiently.
