If you are using energy efficient products like low-energy light bulbs in your house or offices, you should know that according to some experts these bulbs, which contain small amounts of mercury, pose their own environmental risk. So you should be very careful about this too. Experts recommend that if such a bulb is broken, everyone should vacate the room in which it smashed for at least 15 minutes, and take note, a vacuum cleaner should not be used to clean up the mess, and rubber gloves should be used when putting the debris into sealable plastic bags.
