Antiviral Flu Drug Warning!

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel has recommended that a warning be added on the labels of the antiviral flu medications Tamiflu made by Roche Holding AG and Relenza, made by GlaxoSmithKline Plc.

These flu drugs may pose psychiatric risk. According to reports, a small but rising number of patients, mostly in Japan, taking the antiviral flu medications mentioned above have experienced delirium and hallucinations. Some cases of erratic behavior, including jumping from buildings, resulted in deaths have been reported.
