Germany

The Oktoberfest is one of the most famous events in Germany and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year. I really wish to witness this event. Maybe next year (I hope!), witness that jolly band music and merry crowds. I know festivals are a year-round way of life in Germany. The people don't even take time out for winter months. and explore the adventure that each season has to offer. I know there are lots of beautiful castles and palaces there. The castles and palaces which Germany has to offer are all original. There are not just a handful of well-preserved ones, but several hundred from all epochs and of every genre. Each has its own long an thrilling history, which is being kept alive within its walls. These varying great architectures and designs would be so cool to see.

Who would not want to see great castles like the one below? Aside from castles architectures, it tells a story, a great history about the past.

Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein was built from 1868 by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and is probably the best known castle in the world.

Aside from enjoying the Oktoberfest and beautiful castles, you can just go around and enjoy what the country offers to everyone be it culture, hi-tech, parks and greenery, night-life, architecture, beer gardens, shopping or the skiing and sailing close by. There are plenty of cheap hotels in Germany where everyone can afford to stay. In Munich alone, the Capital of the state of Bavaria, one can already be entertained by its beauty with all the exciting and affordable places and events it offers. Personally, I am interested to visit the largest museum of technology and natural sciences in the world.

Deutsches Museum

I heard its a great museum with over 13 acres of exhibitions containing invaluable original machines and equipment, models and reconstructions, from classical mechanics to telecommunications, from a full-size reconstructed coal mine to space travel technology. There are a lot affordable and convenient hotels in Munich too where one could stay and still enjoy the fun.

Visiting Germany is a great get away for one and all.
