I love broccoli. I really do I don't know why. Maybe its, the taste? or maybe because when I was a kid mommy tells me it's good for me. Now I'm older, I learned that it B that have been shown to protect against heart disease. Foods rich in B vitamins lower blood levels of homocysteine. Elevated homocysteine levels are linked to increases in heart disease. Some vegetables rich in Vitamin B6 are asparagus, bell peppers, bok choy, broccoli, spinach, potatoes with skin, squash and cantaloupe. Yummy! I love these vegetables.
